Your prayers are needed

The past few days, I have had a burning pain in my stomach. Never felt any cramps or anythings, so really didn't think anything of it. Yesterday came down with the 24 hour virus....so I think. I went to the doc today, because the burning has not gone away. They took my blood count and had me do a urine test. My white blood cell count came back at 12,000 which he said was not good. They got me in right away with the radiology clinic. I am headed there right now for them to do a CT Scan.......PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suprise, Suprise....I never know what my days are going to be like here at the office. Well, this morning, I walked into the office and found this!!! Natalie decided we needed a new employee!

Natalie exact words, "She will be cheap, we can pay her in Kibbles -N-Bits"!!!!

Pimpin' Ain't Easy

On the way to school this morning, Braxton said "Wook (look) mommy it's you"!!! while driving I responded...."Hang on Braxton, I am driving I will look in a second" I pulled up to a stop sign, put the car in park, turned around and saw my son checking out my Victoria Secret magazine!!!!! I was shocked and couldn't stop laughing!!! I had thrown it in the backseat of my car yesterday, not even thinking that Braxton would pick it up. Well he has proved me wrong once again on what a 2 year old can do. I thought it was really sweet that my son thought I was in the Victoria Secret Magazine..;)

"Look at the camera just once please"

For all you parents out there, how many times do you think you have said "Look at the camera, smile, say cheese, show me your pretty teeth, etc." trying to get that "perfect" picture of your child?!?! Well, Brax doesn't even know what it is like to not even have a camera in front of his face. I can't wait to get my GOOD camera back that takes a picture in a second. I have missed so many good shots of Brax because I am waiting on this old school, work camera I have been using to turn on, blink 5 times, and then seems like another 10 mins just to take one picture!!!! Ahhhh...gotta love technology. Here are some pictures from this morning waiting on the school bell to ring. We had a few minutes to waste, so I got my camera out. Here again..."Brax smile, look at the camera"! Then he smiles, but my old school camera is taking FOREVER TO WORK!!!!

Oh Braxton....you are sooo loved!!!!!

You would think it was Christmas around here by the amount of stuff Braxton got for Valentine's Day!!!! Braxton's Aunt, "PP" (aka Piper) picked him up from school on Friday and came by the office so we could give Brax his V-day presents. Nana came by and suprised us with gifts as well!!!! He had so much fun and was full of smiles. I was so glad because the past couple of days all I had seen was a sick little boy that did not feel very good at all. His temp got up to 104 Wednesday night......VERY SCARY!!!!!! In the middle of the night, when his temp sky rocketed, I put him in the tub and cooled his body temp down. Braxton was not very happy about it, but it had to be done. I am suprised the neighbors didn't call the cops on us...he was screaming that loud!!! His face was as red as his shirt in these pictures. I thank god his fever finally went down after Motrin and a bath!!!!

God was with me this night...I was so scared and he kept me calm. Braxton has never had a fever that high before and I was scared to death!!! Thank you Lord for keeping me calm and helping me with my son.

Remember the Morning Chao's post? Well, he loves watching himself on the "puter (computer)". We had to play that video over and over again. He said "Mommy, I was grumpy that day"! I laughed so hard when he said that.

My lil Heartbreaker

Braxton was so excited about going to "Big Boy" school today!!! He knew he was taking cupcakes to the Valentine's Day party and also he couldn't wait to give his teachers their presents! Braxton loves his teachers Ms. Audrey and Mrs. Landa. Look at these adorable frames Natalie put together for them.

Natalie, they were a huge hit and the teachers loved them!!!! Thank you!

One of our good friends, Earl came by the office last week to give Braxton a Valentine's Day gift. He was at "Big Boy school", but I made sure that I would give the gift to Brax right away when I picked him up and take a few pictures ;)!!! Earl, he loved the "duckers" (suckers) and the chocolates you gave him! Braxton says "Bank (thank) you Earl"! I know there is a Nestle Crunch heart missing, but I couldn't pass it up...it looked to good! Sorry Earl, I owe you a heart ;)

Checking out some of my favorite blogs and ran across http://sarahandbradthomas.blogspot.com aka Sarah Lux (love her). I was gooing and awwing how cute lil Kate was and reading all the neat stuff she is doing at 8 months. Well, at the end I see Blogger Award....then scrolling down a bit further I see my name!!!!! Wow, Sarah I feel so special. Awards are always so exciting..I have received some through work, a trophy from playing sports, but I would have to say this tops it all!!!!!!

P.S. Haley I say this is compared to the Grammy's ;)

I can tell you what....I AM ONE PROUD MOMMA!!! Braxton is featured here in Toddler Magazine. Take a look at those man boobs, and owe how I miss those chunky little rolls!!! Braxton had just turned a year old in this picture. Popcorn, Nachos, M&M's, Skittles, Dr.Pepper and Basketball

We have been trying to make it to one of Bradley Kifer's basketball games for weeks now. Well, finally last week we made it to a game. Braxton was sooo excited!!!! He sat there really still and watched Bradley play. He was mesmerized...I think I have a future ball player on my hands...:)Right now Braxton is all about basketball, football and baseball!!!! Brax also found the concession stand filled with every kids favorite foods and he was a happy camper. I think he could get use to this...lol!

Pray for Brayden

It is Friday and almost 5:00...YEAH!!! I finally got caught up on my work here at the office and decided to read some of my favorite blogs. Well, I came across this one blog and it touched my heart so much. I was balling my eyes out.......reading every post. Please click on the Team Brayden button on the right side and you will go to their family blog. Grab a kleenex before reading and then say a prayer for this sweet family. I have no idea who they are, but my prayers are with them. I couldn't imagine what they are going through, not being able to take their baby home, and seeing their baby fight for its life. Ok, so I am in tears writing this post...please read their story and pray for them!!!!!!! I am leaving the office now and going to give my son the biggest hug (even bigger than this morning) , kiss, and tell him how much I love him!!!

Morning Chao's

For all you Mom's out there, you know exactly where I am coming from on this....GETTING YOUR CHILD READY FOR SCHOOL. Getting everything ready for school somedays can run very smoothly, then somedays you are either pulling your hair out, or running around with your head chopped off. Well, this morning was kind of like me running around CRAZY! First of all, Brax did not want to get out of bed, then I am looking at the clock thinking you have got to eat breakfast (it takes him 30 mins sometimes, because it takes him awhile to wake up), then we have to get dressed, fix his lunch, brush teeth, try to use the potty, etc....Ahhhhhh!!!!! Well, we ended up making it to school 5 minutes early, how....I have no idea, but I was impressed with myself. But we forgot to fix something before we left the house, and um.....well, Braxton wanted to fix it himself!!!!!!! Look at this video and it will explain everything, the mood he woke up with, and showing his independency!!!

Future Businessman?

Braxton loves coming to my office to help me work. It was so cute this morning, a customer came in and Brax said "Sir, can I help you, I work on puter (computer)"!!! I loved how Brax was so polite :). The customer was so nice and patient. He would have rather have set there and had a conversation with Braxton than me take of his insurance...lol!!! Finally after about 30 mins of 2 year old conversation and taking care of insurance, it was time for the customer to leave. Brax said "bye come again, have a great day"!
